we are a whole team there to support and guide every member of Hamilton Aquatics in their development (including swimmers, parents, schools and employees).

How we achieve this:
Recruiting The Best Teachers and Coaches
Our strict recruitment policies ensure that all teachers and coaches hold a minimum of an ASA UKCC Level 2 teaching or coaching qualification or equivalent coupled with a lifesaving qualification as well as at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
Every new team member receives at least a week-long training induction on our programmes, plus ongoing support, to help them become part of the Hamilton Aquatics family. This ensures the safety and happiness of our swimmers and other employees.
Offering Continuous Professional Development
Our internal support network enables Hamilton Aquatics teachers and coaches access to on-going feedback on their teaching or coaching performance, as well as the most up-to-date teaching and coaching knowledge.
As we only employ full-time team members, it means that every team member can undergo a minimum of five hours training per month, honing their teaching, coaching, health and safety and water rescue skills.
Staff are also offered a management training programme to afford them the opportunity to enhance their soft skills and progress in their chosen career.
Creating an Environment Where Champions are Made
The calibre of our coaches, their access to education and CPD, the adoption of the Long-Term Athlete Development plan and careful selection of the best facilities, all contribute to creating the ideal environment for champions to train.
We strive to offer the highest quality in every aspect of a competitive swimmer’s training, allowing a swimmer our full support the whole way.
Offering Ongoing Assessments
Throughout all our swimming programmes, teachers and coaches continually assess all participants.
This means as soon as participants have completed all the criteria for one stage and are ready to be challenged, they will be moved up to the next stage.
No time is wasted with assessment weeks; every week is for learning, developing and improving.
Offering an Online Software System
Hamilton Bay, our online system incorporates enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and supplier relationship management into one fully integrated package supporting the operational and strategic leadership of Hamilton Aquatics,
and ensuring a smooth experience for our members allowing us to take aquatics provision to the next level.
