Founded in the summer of 2007 Hamilton Aquatics runs a number of different squads for swimmers of different ages and abilities.

Chris Tidey was previously the Director of Aquatics for the GEMS Swim Academy (GSA). The GSA was started in June 2005, initially with just 16 swimmers . It steadily grew under the guidance of Chris Tidey to become the strongest programme in the UAE.

The parents and families at GSA were fantastic and fully supportive, a trend that has continued with Hamilton Aquatics. The Hamilton Aquatics parents have become an even stronger unit, assisting whenever needed at home and away swim meets.

Subsequently since forming Hamilton Aquatics the programme has now become the strongest Swimming Academy in the Middle East winning the Middle East Swimming Championships.
